The Republic of Brazil has joined the Hague Convention since August 14, 2016.
The Federative Republic of Brazil joined the Hague Convention on August 14, 2016, abolishing the requirement for the legalization of foreign official documents, dated October 5, 1961. Since August 2016, in order to legalize documents for Brazil, it is enough to put an "Apostille" stamp on them.
Consequently, the international official document flow between Brazil and Ukraine, which has already joined the Convention earlier, is simplified. This greatly simplifies the preparation of documents, saves time and money.
If your document was received in Brazil and you want it to be legally valid in Ukraine, the document must have an apostille on it. In Brazil, the apostille is put by authorized notary offices, a list of which is available on the website of the National Council of Justice of Brazil.
An electronic acetylation system has been introduced. The document is printed on special paper, which is made at the Brazilian Mint and has a special code that allows you to verify the authenticity of the apostille via the Internet. Together with the introduction of the apostille, the system of legalization of documents in the central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, regional representations and foreign diplomatic institutions of Brazil remains. Apostilles issued by the participating countries of the Hague Convention till August 14, 2016, are valid in Brazil.
UST Group legal company accepts documents for apostille affixing for their further use on the territory of the Federal Republic of Brazil.
