Ukrainians who want to live in Spain, open a bank account there or buy a house must receive a special document.
Foreigners connected with this country in the economic, professional or social sphere receive a unique personal identification number of a foreigner (NIE, Número de Identificación de Extranjeros).

Why is NIE needed?
NIE will identify the foreigner and will have to be indicated in all documents and cases where an identity card is required together with the data specified in the passport.

How can I obtain NIE?
The application for NIE must be submitted by the applicant themselves or by an authorized person with a corresponding notarial order translated into Spanish: (the translation must be made by a sworn translator or certified at the Embassy of Spain).

Important! You must provide the original and a photocopy of the first page of the passport.
