The Apostille stamp, a simplified procedure for legalizing documents, will now be valid in the Republic of Palau.
Republic of Palau adopted the Hague Convention On June 23, 2020, becoming the 118th country to accept the apostille seal. The Convention has already entered into force. The Republic of Palau joins other small island States of the Pacific Ocean as a Contracting Party to the Convention, such as Cook Islands, Fiji, Marshall Islands, Niue, Samoa, Tonga and Vanuatu.
